Georgia Apple Festival

 

The Georgia Apple Festival hosted in Ellijay brings more than 300 vendors offering food, art, crafts, and more, as well visitors from all over.  There is a parade and antique car show each year. This year promises suprises and new crafts.

Sorghum Festival

 

 

Sorghum is the 3rd most popular cereal grain in our country and a staple of early Georgia farmers going back to the early 1800’s. One of the most famous products derived from sorghum is the syrup. Celebrate the Art of making this product with a roadshow of activities, such as Arts and Crafts exhibitions, Greased Pole Climbin’, Log Sawin’, Live Music, Face Painting, Vendors and more…

Blairsville Scottish Festival

 

 

Live an exciting event in which you will make a trip to the past: you will go directly to ancient Scotland! The Annual Blairsville Scottish Festival & Highland Games brings family fun with a Scottish flair. Feel the joy of Highland music, enjoy the sound of bagpipes, dance and taste exquisite dishes! There’s an athletic competition in traditional games, border collies, and falcons show, as well as Scottish clothing and weapons exhibitions. The good news for children is they can participate in their own Highland Games.

Blue Ridge Trout Festival

 

 

Georgia is the Trout Capital. Every year we celebrate it in the historic district of Georgia’s Blue Ridge through The Annual Blue Ridge Trout Festival & Outdoor Adventures; a great event that combines trout fishing and outdoor recreation.
