Brasstown Valley Resort Golf is listed as one of the best in the region. Designed by Georgia architect Denis Griffiths, this course winds through relaxing streams, ponds, and wildlife preserves. Another of its characteristics is a very challenging uphill par 4 with a distinctive 19-hole public course. This piece of heaven is located in Young Harris, GA.
World-renowned architect designed this project Rocky Roquemore. Whitepath is located in Ellijay, GA, and offers 18 holes of golf for challenging games. The good news is this is a public golf course but also memberships are available for residents. In addition, the course has a driving range and practice green. Butternut Creek Golf Course is in Blairsville, GA and features 6,536 yards of dramatic fairways. Their 4 to 6 tee boxes on every hole give challenging options for every player and offers plenty of elevation changes. In other words, each hole is unique. Old Union Golf Course is an 18-hole semi-private golf course in Blairsville, GA. Denis Griffiths designed the golf course and opened to the public in 2009. The whole course measures 7667 yards and features 5 sets of tees for different skill levels. Membership and rates available on the website.
